It feels like a hot minute since we saw Andre Iguodala on the Warriors basketball court.
The veteran swingman has been sidelined with a neck injury since Game 4 of the Warriors’ first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, but Iguodala hopes to return for this series because He is chasing his fourth game. Won the NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors.
Before Game 5 of the first round, the Warriors announced that Iguodala would be out with an injury to the left cervical disc in his neck. The team plans to reassess him within a week’s time.

How is Andrew Iguodala’s injury?
Iguodala has been battling a left cervical disc injury. It’s unclear when he was injured, but it was discovered after the Suns’ Game 4 against the Nuggets on April 24.
The team initially said it would re-evaluate him within a week. In early May, the team announced that “Iggy” was making good progress and would be reassessed again within a week.

In a surprisingly positive turnaround for the Warriors, Iguodala is now listed as problematic Thursday’s game 1vs. Boston.
Iguodala told reporters during NBA Finals media day that his goal was to return to the Warriors’ Finals lineup, but he took comfort in helping his teammates despite not playing with them.
“Just trying to end the season on two feet,” Iguodala said. “If I do it, it will be a successful season. You come back to my goals come back [to the Warriors]which is similar to the mood I was in when I first signed with the team in 2013.
