The gameplay of Apex Legends Mobile is essentially similar to the battle royale games players know and love, with all the same weapons and mechanics. But there are some subtle differences, such as being able to enter third person.

One important thing to note is that Apex Legends Mobile does not support cross-play or cross-playso you don’t have to worry about being sabotaged on your phone by someone on your PC and console.

Third-person view is another feature that’s only available in the mobile version, and in addition to the Easter egg, players can activate in the PC and console versions of the shooting range.

In the mobile version, players can switch between third-person and first-person according to their preference. When using third person, the player has a better view of what is around them, and when aiming at a target, the camera switches back to first person.

Currently, players can only use one battle royale map in Apex Legends Mobile, which is edge of the original world.

The developers have confirmed that Kings Canyon will launch in the future, possibly even in the first season of the mobile game.

There are a few other maps available to players, such as the Spill Arena map in the main game. There are also POIs from Kings Canyon, such as Artillery, available in Apex Legends Mobile’s Team Deathmatch mode.

The developer also teased that some of the new maps will also be “mobile-first”, however, we’ll probably have more information on these maps at a later date.

Apex Legends Mobile also features seasons with battle passes and challenges. Unlike the console and PC versions of Apex Legends, Season and Battle Pass are only a month away.

There are paid and free versions of the Battle Pass, and players will complete daily and weekly challenges to progress.

There’s also Legendary progression, where players can expand the utility of a Legendary by equipping additional perks, such as faster reloads. This is unique to Apex Legends Mobile and adds even more personalisation to the game.
