New Legend: Loba
Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 will release Loba, a saga taken from the PC and console versions.
Loba brings a unique support character to the legendary lineup, offering a playstyle that revolves around loot. For more on the new Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 Legend, check out our guide to Loba, including her abilities and more.
Towns Take Over: Climate Regulators
Apex Mobile’s brand new season also brings some changes to World’s Edge, as the EA Blog says the map has been taken over by “Winter War.”
Now, starting with Apex Legends Mobile Season 2, the Climatizer on World’s Edge will “turn off and on during matches where parts of World’s Edge are covered in snow!”
Additionally, “Check your map for Frosted loot chests” when the Climatizer is on and sprinkles snow all over the place, which will give players a “Frost Reward” like the new Ice grenade that freezes enemies. Players can also collect diamonds from frozen loot chests and enemy death chests to spend in the seasonal shop.
New limited time mode
Armed and Dangerous LTM will arrive in Apex Legends Mobile Season 2, although some leaks and rumours suggest it will return in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends.
This LTM is for shotguns and snipers only, so make sure you hit the bullet because every bullet counts.
new battle pass
Of course, the new season brings a brand new Battle Pass. The Cold Snap Battle Pass will bring 50 new reward tiers, as well as some changes.
First, the developers are showing their gratitude by rewarding players for purchasing a Prime Time Premium or Premium Plus Battle Pass:
- 50 Syndicate Gold
- 1 Syndicate Pack
These rewards can be found in the in-game mailbox.
The developer also mentions that “800 Syndicate Coins will be available upon completion of the Cold Snap Premium or Premium Plus Battle Pass”.
Bug fixes and improvements
The update also brings various bug fixes and improvements:
- Optimize the basic visual effects of Wraith
- Fixed an issue where players were unable to adjust the Peacekeeper’s automatic ammo pickup settings
- Adjusted several replicator spawn locations
- Fixed several places at the edge of the world where players would get stuck or blocked on terrain.
- Fixed an issue where phantom players would experience a delay when removing their weapon after activating their ultimate.
