Black Adam reveals his new replacement to whom he will pass power to in Christopher Priest and Rafa Sandoval’s Black Adam #1 of DC.

DC’s Black Adam has a new replacement named Malik White, who will take on the power of the titular antihero.

The issue, the first in a new twelve-episode series for DC, introduces readers to a character named Malik White. Malik first encountered Theo Tes-Adam at the hospital where he appeared to work – however, a nurse later told a detective that “Dr White” was not employed there – when Blake Adam Barged in and demanded to know if Malik had any interaction with Shakur Nassar. “The leader of the reform movement in our country,” Blake Adam told Malik about Shakur Nassar. “Last time at your house. He was assassinated.”
Malik denies any interaction with Shakur Nassar. He was later interrogated by the police and detained for a period of time for the same issue. Malik and his friend Jasmine were leaving the police station when he was caught by a man and thrown into some kind of portal that took him to Karndak.
There he was greeted by a small group – one of whom was a detective working with Blake Adam who had been looking for Malik – who called him “The Master” and told him that Nassar “wants to To have a revolution in Karndak” and hope Malik “helps lead it”. A seemingly wounded mortal Black Adam then comes out and reveals that he is dying. “You, Malik-Adam…are my descendants. So – the power of Black Adam – I passed on to you.” The question ended with the shock Malik shared as he tried to understand what he had just been told.
This black adam The series explores Theo Teth-Adam’s immortality stripped. DC previously revealed that the character will be in black adam #3 and Malik will be forced to do whatever is necessary to try and bring him back to life.Owen Rodriguez black adam The #4 cover also shows Malik wearing a white version of the Shazam villain suit, while Rafa Sandoval’s variant cover shows him sitting on a bed with the demon Etrigan looming behind him.
